Some things you need to know about air tickets
1. Buy air tickets in good time – normally the earlier you book your air ticket, the better price you get.
2. Return air ticket – if you are sure about your return date, buy return air ticket, as it will definitely cost you cheaper than 2 one-way air tickets.
3. Air ticket’s price depends on:
-Airline; different airlines have different tariffs for the same destination.
-Seasonality – there are high season tariffs (usually summer time and Christmas), which are higher, and low-season tariffs.
-Class (business class and travel class). Travel class prices also depend on how early in advance you booked your ticket – there’s no fixed price. The fewer seats are left in the plane, the higher are the prices.
4. Dates flexibility – depending on the written above, if you are flexible about your flight dates, you have more chance to get better price.
5. Sunday rule – you will get better price if your return date is after the first Sunday from your departure date.
6. Use travel agent advice to guide you through airlines’ tariffs and rules. Booking through travel agency may cost you a little more expensive but will definitely save you much time and money caused by your own possible mistakes or misunderstandings – remember that most travel class tickets are non-refundable. Are usually much cheaper than hotels.
